I did not make school?

I left school when I was 17 and didn't come back for personal reasons, now I'm 21 and wish I finished it so that I can get a simple Job and be equal in society, my parents at first took it up very badly, but now with more responsibility I can go back. The thing I am asking is, What kind of work can you get with a GED?
