@LindaM I don't see how denying myself things that I like will make me feel better?! lol

well for me its like "respecting" Jesus..im not preaching but I was brought up to believe in God and when ive had struggles and sad and crying I always seem to be blessed with blessings to help me through so to give up something that I love for 40 days is just a small jesture and is showing respect for Jesus, that's what I believe :)@Quizzical

@LindaM When I've had struggles and I'm sad I find a cigarette or bar of chocolate help me... So, no, I will not be giving anything up for lent, lol
