Well I doubt it is always the case it depends on the individual. Some men can be stronger emotionally than some woman too.

Period pain
Child pain just PAIN .
So it only makes sense to be emotionaly stronger otherwise how can one be able to get through it.

@Pureblossom Human childbirth always amazes me... I think as a species we must be doing something wrong. Animals for the most part seem to pop offspring out left and right without any fuss. Yet when humans do it there's blood, sweat, tears, piss, and poop! lol
