There are so many
But here's a start
Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse." (1 Peter 2:18)

@BabyLonia ?!! This doesn’t make God sound very nice! Why do people believe it all?!! Surely most of us know slavery is wrong!

Whatever was relevant 2000 years ago won't be now and what we value won't be in 2000 years. @xRockGlossPrincessx
@BabyLonia People are so quick to use moral relativism until it no longer suits their narrative. Slavery was not considered a social flaw until 'Christians' started calling for change. It was perfectly normal and natural at that time. We know it's wrong but the thought never crossed 'their' minds that there was anything 'wrong' with it. I hope I don't sound abrasive towards you. I'm just making a case. I'm not trying to be argumentative. It's just perfectly logical for the scribes at that time to describe the social structure of 'that' time. Hell! The old testament has some practically unspeakable laws and traditions. Like bashing the brides head in with rocks on steps of her fathers house if her hymen isn't intact on her wedding day. That means if the bride had some kind of accident or a weak hymen, she got her head bashed in with rocks on the steps of her father's house on her wedding day. It doesn't get much worse than that!
@BabyLonia Of course it was. That's my heresy. Many Christians would reject my belief that the bible is not literally the Word of God. Jeremiah 8:8 is the bible's disclaimer.
"How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain."

@BabyLonia Well, it's also a historical document. Hard 'matter of fact' truths about the draconian social structure of a primitive people in a harsh environment. I personally believe the bible is mythology, poetry, prophesy, and dogma, with intermittent perfect truth and the best advice in print.
"A workman needeth not be ashamed; rightly dividing the Word of truth."
Why would one need to "rightly divide" the Word of Truth?
Because of Jeremiah 8:8
Also, there is a reason they are called the 'old' and 'new' testaments .
