@akindheart That's just heartbreaking. At least if the thieves targeted super rich people who are insured and multi-millionaires..but they don't.
They don't seem to care and will steal from the poorest just because they can.

@MegynK Tragically there were almost as many murders in London as Chicago last year. London there were 629, Chicago 650.
firefall · 61-69, M
well, noone can escape me that way
xRockGlossPrincessx · 26-30, F
@firefall Yup! All ready for the cops.

I never lock my door even when I go off
when I am going to be gone a week ,well my dog would be gone then too
so I would lock up then
but I know locks only keep honest people honest
people set on getting in will ,
,but getting out of here might be a problem
my neighbors and I look after each other
you might run into more than you bargained for coming out

Cause no one outside can hear the screams coming from my "fun" dungeon...
User41 · 36-40, M
I do but everyone locked in there with me dont
bijouxbroussard · F
Mainly because I live in the city and that way people can’t just walk in with no effort. But I live in a flat with its own locked door inside a building with a main front door. And I trust my neighbors in the other flats in that building. Once I actually left my key in my door and a neighbor knocked and let me know.
firefall · 61-69, M
@bijouxbroussard good neighbour :)

Locking my doors doesn't necessarily make me feel any safer, but I don't feel unsafe where I live in the first place
xRockGlossPrincessx · 26-30, F
Lucky you! @SW-User
LaCrazyCucumber · 46-50, M
I don't lock my door. I feel safe anyway.
xRockGlossPrincessx · 26-30, F
@LaCrazyCucumber Hmm interesting okay
LaCrazyCucumber · 46-50, M
@xRockGlossPrincessx It's only because I have a large outer door. The inner one doesn't matter if it's not locked if I am at home.

Because it would take about 10 seconds for someone big to break it down, and that gives me 10 seconds to bring my axe from the wall.
xRockGlossPrincessx · 26-30, F
You’re right! @MartinTheFirst

Gingerbreadspice · F
Maybe because no one can just walk in.
