Not all, but I can understand why some, at least, do. It is the incessant whinging and 'gay' parades which irritate many!!

One of the reasons why , in my social circle', at least, in being accepted is that when a female companion accompanies me it is not displayed by excessive kissing or undue caresses. Quite the contrary. We do not strut like peacocks and hope that someone notices our feathers. Today, though, it would appear that such displays are commonplace but this has little to do with gender preference.
