what wrong with abortion as birth control?

i dont get it what is wrong
dumpstermeow · 41-45, F
Way too expensive
dumpstermeow · 41-45, F
@seashells my IUD's have worked 100% for 15 years. 🤷🏼
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@dumpstermeow what type are they? I thought they were dangerous or something?
dumpstermeow · 41-45, F
@Tastyfrzz I use the hormonal one, I'm currently on my third with no issues. They are dangerous in the rare chance a pregnancy happens... the baby will die and the woman could too if not treated.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#7700B2]yeah why not kill babies as a form of birth control instead of you know actually using birth control so that it would never have to get that far.. or even crazier, maybe have safe sex.. I know crazy [/c]
TexChik · F
It’s a shame your mother didn’t feel that way
seashells · 31-35, F
@TexChik yeah well she would of if she could of,
Littlelegskate · 26-30, F
@RainbowSprinkles she went rogue 😂
@Littlelegskate Or had a momentary lapse of cognitive reason. 😂

There are much easier and less expensive forms of birth control.
Littlelegskate · 26-30, F
I have no words right now
SW-User
Not everyone is up for baby killing
thirddantkd · 61-69, M
@seashells and you never carried it either. Who pays for all of these abortions that you have had? Stop draining the system & practice abstinence
seashells · 31-35, F
@thirddantkd I have. The longest I carried one was almost 2 months. It's a group effort for payment. I pay some while my partner pays some. I paid for one myself once
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@thirddantkd abstinence isn't an option with rape and incest. Sometimes kids can be really stupid too. There was a kid in 5th grade at my school who got a tenth grade girl pregnant. No idea. Anyway, his parents ended up taking care of the kid. She died in delivery. It's very dangerous to have kids when you're that young.

I usually don't have a problem with abortion, but if a woman's constantly getting them, it tells me she and/or her partner are too stupid/clueless to practice safe sex.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@ScrewThisImDone or her father is a drunk.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
There are some who don't even want birth control. They are so stuck in the 500 year old writings of old men that they can't think straight. They are brainwashed.
seashells · 31-35, F
@Tastyfrzz yeah as i said put the bible down and think for yourself
Deadcutie · 18-21, F
A woman's body aborts fetuses all the time naturally
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Deadcutie MASS MURDERERS CLEARLY.
firefall · 61-69, M
Primarily just that it uses resources that could be used elsewhere if you are using some simpler form of birth control.

Having said that, I have several Irish friends who had to use abortion as their birth control because all contraceptives were banned in Eire at the time (they'd travel to England for their abortions).
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
It's not. I mean, it's an expensive inefficient form of birth control but it's not a moral issue.
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
Because they want to remove consequence from pleasure
seashells · 31-35, F
@Jackaloftheazuresand its not so bad
It’s much more expensive than a condom, oral contraceptives or even the “morning after” pill. And more taxing on one’s body; it’s a surgical procedure. It’s basically being irresponsible. Although I’m not going to assert that an irresponsible woman should be forced to have a child, which is the alternative.
