How much of a age gap do you think is too much between couples in a relationship?

And do you think it makes a difference if the male or the female is the older one? We are talking about heterosexual couples in this instance.

Whatever works for the two people involved. Although I think in terms of a long term commitment, more than about ten years would be a challenge over time.
