I try not to weep publicly but sometimes I can't help it. I'll try to hid in a conference room when it happens at work. I cried at the vet in front of the whole waiting room yesterday. And on every conference call at work yesterday and today they got to hear my quivering voice that couldn't be helped.

@Dewms You remember my beautiful cute white doggie with the floppy ear and big smile? ... we had to put him to sleep yesterday because his cancer was just too bad. He stopped eating and kept wanting to stay out in the snow to die. The kitties miss their dog already, both keep wandering the house looking for him. He was my first baby, we got him 12 years ago.

Me too @Dewms meeee too. Everything keeps triggering me today too. He was so much part of my routine. This is really the first big loss for my 6 yr old too, so she's experiencing grief for the first time in her life - that's a whole other experience I wasn't ready for. As she works through her process she keeps sharing her memories of him and it's just KILLING me.
