CharlesTheThird/SoMental is a liar. Don't believe anything he tells you.

I caught him in so many lies. He pretended to be somebody he wasn't and went to GREAT LENGTHS to make me believe it. He made me feel terribly guilty for not believing him. He finally confessed to me that he lied, and said that he has a disorder called dissociative identity disorder.

Well, I don't believe that either. Maybe it's true, but wiping my hands of this mess.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I had a similar experience and the anger we feel is not just with them but with ourselves for falling and believing in them. At least you got him to admit to it.

Just remember, the fault isn't with you, some people take advantage of those who trust and put their faith in people. I get why you made the post, hopefully with this you can start to let go of the pain 💛
