Do you see panhandlers often?
I see a different panhandler on the same corner almost every week. I wonder if they work together 馃

I actually had a fairly long talk with a panhandler two years ago while waiting at Walmart for a ride.
He told me he had been working and got tired of it. He also told me he was making about $40k a year and that he had a panhandling outfit.
I do not think he's representative but it's something to think about.

@Mamapolo2016 oh yes. I've seen one pull out a wad of cash from his sock to pay for a buffet at a resturant i used to work at. How much did he make panhandling? I hope the 40k per year applied to the job he worked..

When I saw him he was spiffed up and wore shiny and not cheap cowboy boots, was all clean-shaven. He enjoyed bragging about his clever conmanship.

@iamnikki no, he was talking about panhandling income. He said he was 'working' about twenty hours a week panhandling as opposed to forty hours working-working. And he was driving his car when he left and waved.
