I like bacon and have used different brands however...

I noticed none of it is cooking up the way it used to ..it's coming out stringy in some spots and fatty in other spots.. have you noticed any changes in some foods ?

This summer and fall the fresh broccoli seemed to have something wrong where it didn't keep for very long, and if you get into it the stalks had a little brown streaks. This was broccoli from several different stores. Seems to have resolved since then.

@cherokeepatti you know what Cherokee people making a big deal about organic foods don't even realize they are more susceptible to e-coli bacteria because of the natural waste they use as fertilizer

@Jibby Have heard that E-coli can travel through the dirt up into the roots of apple trees and get into apples in the sap! Raw apple cider can make a person sick with E-coli if cows have been around the orchards.

@cherokeepatti interesting documentary on the man that's responsible for manipulating plants with hybridization, chemicals we are there and changing the genetics to get them to grow more abundantly and in places in the world it's hard to grow anything. he's closed to saving almost a billion people but you won't hear much about him. It's bad for a liberal votes

@Jibby there are unintended consequences to genetic engineering though. There are already species of foods that could be used and if we didn't grow tobacco and corn for gas that land could be used for crops.

I love it I could just picture me in Hobo clothes with one shoe on hahaha.. and one of the few movies about Homer's Odyssey I liked even though George Clooney was in it

@Jibby You can always find more shoes on the porches after people have cleaned them up and left them there, that's what happened to my ex's cousin's boots, whoever stole them waited till he cleaned and polished them up, they were a muddy mess and sitting on the porch for a couple of weeks before he got around to cleaning them. And you can find some clothes on clotheslines.

@Jibby If you're lucky there'll be pies on the windowsill cooling and you can grab those while you're at it.
