Are you any good at reading aloud?

My reading aloud is really bad.
It's almost like I don't understand the words that are put together so I end up sounding a but monotone.

Fear would set in when I had to read in school and since then I haven't had to do it very often.

@Pitchblue I literally read to get it over and done with.
But I literally read to read the words not the sentences it's strange.
@Peppa I have a kind of dyslexia where I don't actually see things backwards but I see in pictures so if I have never seen a word before I haven't seen that picture so it doesn't make any sense to me. My brain doesn't acknowledge it. That makes the whole sentence not make sense.
To familiarize yourself with the words makes a lot of sense to me.

@Pitchblue when I read in my head I can make sense of it, but I do sometimes have to read it twice.
@Peppa I don't read much because of reading problems when I was young. The more you read the better but I've gotten in a habit of not reading. Without spellcheck I'm a retard on line so when someone criticizes spelling it really pisses me off. They don't have any understanding why the word is spelled wrong they just want to be critical.

@Pitchblue I see. Well I have one suggestion. Don't keep calling yourself a retard as that's a nasty things to say. If you are dyslexic that's fine. Say that instead. As for spell checking. There are lots of people here that seem to think they are the grammar, spelling and content police.
So either delete their comment, tell them you're dyslexic, ignore them or block them. It's up to you.

But try not to let it bug you, I've not noticed any issues in talking with you.
@Peppa I try to ignore them.
