The remarkable thing is - I can remember quite clearly when I had no cell phone and no computer and somehow managed to survive.
When I wrote about my experience in terror at the Bullcreek Wildlife Management Area, youngsters kept asking: "Why didn't you use your cellphone and call 911?"
Damn, why didn't I think of that? Oh, yeah. No cell phones.
That was about fifteen years ago. Things that didn't exist then are necessities now.

@Mamapolo2016 It’s amazing, isn’t it ? I remember [b]pagers[/b] being an innovation, where you could be notified that someone wanted you to call. 😅
