Do People here, expect to meet In the Real World

so many seem to be hopeful, of some kind of real work interaction.
In my life on other sites ( like EP) i have had a few real work encounters,
but my life is so much more flexible than others, so it is not so hard for me,
How many of you have had real interactions,
Did they work out well or not?

You know, I still have trouble grasping this "I'm anonomous," bullshit. I think if you meet someone, whether online or in person, romantic, or non-romantic, you're supposed to further your relationship somehow. It seems like a lot of people on ep at least were scared to do that. It's just strange to me and shows insecurity in my opinion.
