New client today - come in and said the bank has kicked me out and changed the locks

What can you do for me at 3.15pm. Called the bank and this man is $39,500 in arrears and he wonders why they have taken possession over his house. Should have seen me 18 months ago

@anoderod55 The only way i can get his house back before the bank sells they are requesting $40,000 - no way the house will be sold

@nedkelly like i said about my neighbor . lost the house . sold most everything he owned , but still was able to have a supporting wife . good luck to the person you are working with .

I saw a young woman sitting on the curb crying with a laundry basket in her lap one Sunday morning about 20 years ago....she and her roommate were given prior notice that they were going to be evicted, they had plenty of time to pack their stuff and get out but waited till the deputy Sheriff came to force them out, they only had a few minutes to grab what they could and leave....then the deputy told her she had to get up and leave the apartment complex property, couldn't even sit there and cry. People are so in denial and procrastinate that they are in for a mental shock when the deadline hits them. She and her roommate lost just about everything that they owned except what they carried in their arms, clothes, furnishings, mementoes, etc.

In moments like these I always say this: there you go.

It means nothing and adds nothing because there's usually nothing that can be done lol. Geez.

Sadly some people bury their heads in the sand rather than deal with a problem as soon as it arises
