why would someone text your work email when they have your number?

@Newandimproved well the last i saw him was friday night. it didn't go so great and i didn't hear from him the rest of the weekend. when he contacted me today, he texted my work email. so im thinking he deleted me out of his phone then realize he still wants to talk to me. its just strange

im done seeing him actually, so it works out that he deleted my number. if he asks for it ill just say, you should have it already and if you don't..well, oh well! lol
