I'm an educator and could care less what people wear to class. Telling women to cover up because it is distracting is just code for having no commitment to mentoring young people. Mostly young men.
That said, I can not count the number of times I've been like WTF at how women dress in the lab. Open toed shoes? Heels? Cleavage, bare belly? Pulling a short skirt down every 2 seconds? Seriously? No. Just no. No.
