Hard comparison to make fairly. The illegality of crack and the relative moral decadence of the black market community surrounding it means that that addiction can bring a lot of other things into your life that will be a severe drain on your time, resources, and options, which cannot really be directly blamed on any pharmacological properties of the drug itself.
The answer in most cases would pretty much have to be crack, but alcohol is a far more dangerous drug than is commonly supposed. If you had made this a contest between alcoholism and even a regular-ass cocaine addiction, for example, I'd have come down firmly on the side of alcohol being the more potentially life-destroying.
