I am sincerely hoping against it... I think I am onto a pretty safe bet though.

@Quizzical so you don't think there is one?
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@popmol I know there isn't one to be honest. There is no such thing as a soul to go anywhere anyway.
popmol · 22-25, M
@Quizzical aah, well i think the same way but we'll only know when we die.
but i wouldn't want to live again.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@popmol Can you just imagine an eternity of hanging around with nothing to do but chat with other disembodied spirits?

Sheer hell! I can barely tolerate people at the best of times and then only for short periods...
popmol · 22-25, M
@Quizzical well they say you get everything you want and heaven is the best place ever so you'd always get the most delicious food and games but at some point with an eternity everything would be boring unless there would be work. but that doesn't seem like heaven.

haha me too. i completely understand.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@popmol Anything for eternity is going to become tedious after the first year or so, never mind millennia.
popmol · 22-25, M
@Quizzical i know. unless it magically makes it not loose its interest.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@popmol Well then, it would not be a natural state and I'd want no part of it anyway. An eternity of being brainwashed instead... Still no thanks, lol
popmol · 22-25, M
@Quizzical yeah we wouldn't really be free it would be a like a different universe where you would never get hungry but can still eat without becoming fat and never loose interesting in something but thats a bit weird.
Mguinm · 51-55, F
@popmol It states in the Bible we will work with our hands and build things and plant gardens etc. We won't be lazy, bored and we will have a lot of energy. There is much to learn also. A great teaching lesson about everything throughout the ages.
popmol · 22-25, M
@Mguinm so? so called "fun working" and fun "education" i love knowledge but damn i wouldn't want to go there.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@Mguinm Oh, so we would not even get to laze around for eternity, but be put to work as gardeners? What about my hayfever??

So the choice so far is eternal tedium, or eternal brain-washing induced delirium, or eternal slave labour in a garden...

This afterlife sounds shit! 😞

@Quizzical LOL thanks for the witty response 😆
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@Mguinm It's what I do, lol 😏
