What can I do about my grandpa always asking a question after always saying something its really annoying?

Everytime its always "Alright?: but as a question or "You know what I mean?" Makes me feel like I have to yeah cause he's right but everytime a question at the end. It's annoying not that I dont agree but he just has to top it off and re-confirm he's right or maybe just wants to know if I get what he's saying. I just dont know how to combat it w/out ignoring that ending question. And I hate just flat ignoring his question cause he acts up set or something. Can someone help?
