Ep groups on Similar Worlds?

I just joined and I am a little confused. I recognized a lot of ep groups with 0 members. Were they just transferred over? Was SW started by someone from ep? What is the deal?

Yeah thats what i heard they transferred the groups over so thats why some are duplicates and have no members in them.
