Going from a house to an apartment....

I’ll be moving in with my love soon,except I’m going from a house to an apartment and from have a roommate to having two kids and a woman so what kinda preparation ? What hurdles am I gonna have and what tips can anyone out there give me?
I’m keeping the house one year and if everything works out I’ll then sell it and move into the final stages with this wonderful woman

How did you come to the decision to downsize ?
I ask because it's one thing if there's space for you all to go off and do your own thing in different places. It's a lot harder if space is at a premium.

everybody will have their own room but yes it’s a lot smaller than my 5 bedroom house.We decided to do the neutral ground thing and live each paying our share to see if we flow well
