If you ever leave SW, what would be the reason?

I wasn't talking about a Christmas wish. But the day I will be leaving will be when I no longer wish to be a part of here, out of whatever reasons.

I've left one place because of the owner and her mod. Oh, make that two places. Lol. A third place because of the hateful environment provided by political trolls, and a moderator encouraging the drama for reasons of higher traffic on the site. All three places were based on a smaller user base than here.

@SapphicHeart oh, I guess I misunderstood. Is it the (something)mug place, that some have been talking about? they were saying that it has some spiteful mods.
And for a wile after EP shut down I've been on Vent, but I couldn't stand it for long, the native users were treating us like real refugees, mass reporting us, talking shit on our posts and telling us to leave, etc

It doesn't matter which sites it were. Each of us will have to evaluate and judge any site we want to belong to ourselves. I couldn't see myself staying on any of these sites. What's common for my decisions to leave them will be the kind of moderation provided, and how successful they are to live up to their own TOS. As for here, I have been facing some personal attacks that I am not sure how to evaluate the team dealing with the reports I've filed. I do see similarities to how EP dealt with them at a point, and that caused me to change my presence and how I dealt with these issues as I stopped reporting anything. Consistency is everything about a moderation.

@SapphicHeart sorry to hear about the personal attacks, some people are just frustrated like that and looks for means to release that anger or whatever their issue is. And I usually don't report nobody either, just agree to disagree and fuck them. Unless a person makes a post shit talking somebody on my friends list or somebody I happen to like, then I do report, moreover because it's against TOS.

It is what it is. I might have to change my settings for messages to friends only, and start to block those who can't keep a discussion apart from personal attacks and hatred. *shrugs*

@SapphicHeart nah, don't do it. Don't close yourself off to the world. I wouldn't do it. Just like the airports don't close after a terrorist attack, you shouldn't either 'cause that's what they want. Idk if it was a good analogy, but don't do it=P

@SapphicHeart Well you decide what you need to do, but in the meantime just don't reply. I see some girls posting screenshots of them talking to these obsessed weirdos and complaining about all the stuff they said. Of course, it's messed up, but if you don't engage in a convo with them they won't have a reason to hang by and move on to somebody else to bother, somebody that will reply back.

I've made one or two posts like that, but not in general. I have this far flagged and filed a report when it happens. I know who one of them is, and it's one whom I blocked on his main account. The obsessives are tough to deal with unless admins wants to step in and put an end on it.

@SapphicHeart Hm, I see. I don't know how they could stop them if they can make other accounts, but I hope they get bored soon and leave you alone.
