What long shot have you taken that really paid off?

I combined 3 trades into one
I was tired of other trades in my way ,and having to cover up their work so I did not damage the finished product ,,them tying up my jobs when they weren't done on time .
So I combined them ,,so I could schedule who was where when ,and got them done in the right order for a better outcome
But one call does it all is not easy to sell
if one part is not done on time ,no one gets paid is a big issue .
If someone drops the ball it messes up everything that follows
But since I worked with my crews ,I had the experience to do all the trades
and the customers knew my work and was always happy with me
I was able to sell them on the Idea ,and it paid well for everyone
And the owners liked dealing with just me ,and not 3 contractors who had their crews tripping over one another ,,we worked like a well oiled machine
and everyone was happy ,especially me ,,I was told no one would buy it
they were wrong
