Do you block people you don't like?

Avoid them? or else?

I haven't blocked anyone yet. I feel like you can learn something new even from those you disagree with or find annoying. That's why I keep all my doors opened.

@Dan193 I like your mindset

@Trevo Thanks )

@Dan193 I learn most from people who disagree with me, so that's never a reason for blocking. I block people who are deliberately confrontational,and accuse you of saying things you never said. I ask where I said that and the misquote me. I explain they are wrong, or misunderstanding me and they get really nasty then. That's when I cry foul and block them. I really dislike being condescended to,by idiots.

@Serenitree Usually I just drop the convo, if I see that it's going nowhere. I don't argue, I just say "ok" and fuck 'em and their views. And even after that I don't think it's enough for me to block them. Because maybe some other day, they might have a change of heart and be totally nice or just talk about something that I might find interesting. Or share a post that's pretty informational, etc.

@Dan193 I understand, but the ones I'm talking about......if you saw the conversations......

Yesterday, there was one who was, as I said, confrontational. I thought perhaps he misread what I'd said. He hadn't. He was baiting me. And he kept talking down to me, as if I was the moron and calling me Hun. I told him call me Hun, once more and 👎
He immediately sent a pm saying Hi Hun. He was immediately blocked. Public forum is one thing. Invade my space, and I throw them out.

@Serenitree oh I didn't see the conversation, but I understand, some could be really invasive and unnecessarily rude.

@Dan193 exactly. Thank you.
