Do you give to beggars ?
I seen a beggar today so gave her all my money, well what i had on me. I googled if it was right thing to do because of drug problems etc, the first few pages advise against it , i was shocked really.

I don’t. I can’t afford it, frankly. Instead I try and give my time volunteering at a homeless shelter, where I do laundry (a task I generally hate, but it’s obviously necessary), sweep and vacuum, wash dishes and sometimes cook and serve food in the kitchen. It’s a little thing considering how vast the problem is here, but (I think) worth more than change or a dollar here and there.
