Do you give to beggars ?

I seen a beggar today so gave her all my money, well what i had on me. I googled if it was right thing to do because of drug problems etc, the first few pages advise against it , i was shocked really.

Sometimes I do. Not to people who are obviously on drugs though. The other night a girl came up to me wanting money for a hotel room.. she had scabs all over her face, obviously from drugs, so I didn’t give her anything. As badly as I felt for her 😕
