How important is a girl's virginity to you?

I lost mine like 9 years ago and haven't looked back since then, but my friend were talking about how guys usually girls that hasn't lost it yet. I know that's bullshit but are there guys that prefer that and if so why?

When I was one and my first partner was it meant something important to me. That was 21 years ago. I can understand why someone might prefer it in that light. At my age now, 39, I can't say I regret it as that relationship lasted 10 years.
