we have choice in what we do, everything is not predestined...we can be consciously aware of every decision we make, it is called awareness..most of us are asleep, yet we can become awakened, that is what Buddha means, awakened one....this is the hope for all of us..to become enlightened...free from suffering..

People are not conscious of every decision they make but that does not mean it was without free will. Sometimes decisions are made subconsciously based on habits you consciously developed through free decisions.

A causal determinist might attempt to convince you that it is, but they're incorrect.

Free will starts in the mind

Yes, I'm aware of every decision I make. I'm an exhistential nhilist. I don't believe in essentialism.

We have free will within our life. Predestination is very limited I believe
Why shouldn't we have a free will if we believe in God?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
Believing in god isn't requirement for having free will...
Memetic · 56-60, F
Not believing in god is a requirement for free will

Or an elusion.

This is a pretty silly question... if there was no free will, then how come you question the free will? And if theres no free will, then this wouldnt matter, your question wouldnt matter, the question is no longer yours.

Plantbased - "free from suffering" as in "ending the life cycle" as in "everyone dying" as in "nonexistence"... thats a pretty suicidal belief in my opinion.
