Being honest and straight forward

I tell them, and I give my exact reasons for why. They leave me alone after that.

If they have done nothing bad to me I try not to show them that I don´t like them.

I try to be civil unless they give me a reason to not be.

well, how you choose to "handle" people really says more about you than it does about them. It can be a challenge for sure, because there may be a very good reason for why you don't like them, best to deal with them as little as possible perhaps?
