I'm sorry, I don't really know the actor's real names. Who do they play?

Well, each of them has made a guest appearance before. Paget Brewster appeared as Debra Chambers in "Analysis of Cork-Based Networking" in season five, and I don't really remember much about her character. Keith David was the narrator of the Pillows and Blankets episode.


But each of them will be portraying a new character in season 6, they're not reprising their former roles.

Kieth David was also part of the main cast in The Cape. At the end of the Pillows and Blankets episode, Jeff says, "Hey, weren't you on The Cape?"


He says no, but he really was.

I haven't seen anything about The Cape. I thought they made it up, like Inspector Spacetime (Which is a rip-off of Dr Who right? I've not been wrong this whole time)

They made up Inspector Spacetime, although the guy they got to play the Inspector has since gone on to create his own original Inspector Spacetime episodes that you can watch on Youtube. I'm pretty sure it was intended to be a rip-off of Dr. Who.


The Cape, on the other hand, was a superhero drama that aired on NBC in the winter of 2011. It starred David Lyons, Keith David, Summer Glau, Martin Klebba, and James Frain among others, and Vinnie Jones had a recurring role on the series. It received mixed reviews, but it had low ratings as it was in the same time slot as The Bachelor and Two and a Half Men. NBC canceled it after airing only ten episodes.
