Its 3 am

Why is it that at 3 am we get the weirdest thoughts? Like yesterday I was imagining of the earth was flat. What would it be like?

I think it'd be like being a mouse on a table top. When you get to the edge, and look over, you say "Eek!" and then run back to the middle of the table.
