Do you agree?

When someone we care about dies, it's easier to accept the loss because we can't do anything. But when they leave us by choice and continue to live their life, it's way harder, because we always feel like we could've prevented it all.

I think the pain of death is a "pure pain." The pain of someone breaking off a relationship with us is a lot messier. But I would not say that the pain of someone's death is necessarily less. I just think the two kinds of pain are different.
