We learn a lot about ourselves in the role of a teacher, parenting is one of the most ultimate teaching roles one can assume. It's gratifying seeing a being you've created thrive and succeed. Times of struggle with them force us to dig deep and find wisdom and strength we didn't know we had.
Children are often mirrors of ourselves. If we model bad traits, they can absorb them into their character. Having children pushes us to be our best selves.
