Have you ever read The Book of Enoch?

irishwonder1973 · 51-55, M
It was never included in The Bible. Some very scary stuff in there.I don't know if was ever validated.

There are some denominations that accept it. Most notably Roman Catholics. It was rejected by most of the Church, the ones that became Protestant most notably. You will find it in some Bibles listed in the Apocrypha. Never read it myself, though I do know a bit about it. A lot of the Apocrypha is interesting to read, even if you don't accept them as authoritative.

There is a lot of debate on what the Nehalem were. The Bible only says "sons of God and daughters of men" it doesn't elucidate what either of those terms mean.

That is why it isn't accepted as authoritative by most denominations.
well the Neophilia (not sure if that is the right word) or giants were children of fallen angels. prison was the great abyss that Satan will also be thrown into. It is great reading but I never want to be affiliated with a religion or denomination that lives by this doctrine.

@SBelle, not surprising. I was in a play once biased on it as well. Makes a good storyline even if it isn't accepted as authoritative.

Well the bible speaks of the nephelim as well, but they were so evil that they were wiped out for ever. Noah's ark and the flood you know?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
Yeah it says that the demons found the women attractive so they went and took them as wives, this is where the nehalem came from.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
Yeah i think it could make a good fiction, but what is said within it should be treated with caution :)
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
Have anyone even managed to validate the book and make sure that what is said in it is true?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
Yeah thats why ive never bothered, there could be so many lies within it, no one really knows where it came from
