Part of that is how others treat us.
Someone close to me treats me like I am an asshole.
I enventually convince myself I am an asshole until I realize there are so many people (work/Friends) who love me.
You sit there driving yourself crazy wondering why someone so close to you would treat you like you are an asshole.
