There's an ice-cream van crawling up our street and it's playing that infernal "Greensleeves". Drives me nuts! You?

@walabby It's only recently, in the past few months. I thought all Ice-cream vans had gone to the big ice-cream parlour in the sky. Obviously not but am I being awful in wishing their swift demise? 😅

@Zoranna I agree. It was great for a shy 5 year old in 1959, but that has long worn off.. :D

@walabby I was complaining to my Mum about it and she said "But you were so excited about the ice-cream van then." Yes, I told her but you'd never let me go out there and get one! That shut her up! haha I love her dearly, don't get me wrong, I can just tell her these things now. 😅

@Zoranna Back in the day I was visiting my aunt with my Mum. She even bought me an ice cream.. :) :D

@walabby Red letter day! haha My Mum buys me heaps of things now, some I don't need, she's just mellowed so much. She had it tough when we were young and I appreciate that now. I really like my Mum, not many people can say that so I think I'm very fortunate. I just had a giggle to myself here, we're chatting on two different streams here. :-) I'm in WA where are you?

@walabby Yes. Perth is the CBD and while nice, I'm closer to Fremantle which is much nicer.

@Zoranna I haven't been to the South-west corner yet. Have been almost everywhere else in Oz...

@walabby The West is Best. I'm just a little biased though and although I'm not working for the WA Tourist Board, I could probably do a better job of it. Seriously though, it is worth visiting. Lots of wineries and just beautiful scenery. Put it on your "Bucket List". :-)

@walabby Up North yes, driving trucks no, although I do have a heavy vehicle driver's licence and could if I'd wanted to. I worked in finance but on site.
