What would be your strategy for surviving an apocalyptic epidemic?

Form a huge group of only people who you can trust.
Raid for lots of supplies, weapons & cars!
Try to grow fruit & vegetables, and fortify ourselves with a good stable fort!
And expand ofcourse if possible!:)
