I expect they'll have their problems as every generation does.
They'll live longer thanks to advances in medicine, but as to whether their lives will be better than ours.......

I have three generations currently running in my family. For each of them, things started out differently respective to their dates of birth. The elder generations are so far from the younger generation in regard to Social standards. Things are changing so quickly as each generation is born. For me? To think that I was concerned about the '2K Virus' and what might happen to my PC. 17 years down the line, and boy have things changed in so many ways, not all of them good :)
OOppss, and to answer your question in short; I can only say I can't see it being any easier for them.

Worse, this generation's been sheltered way to much and left entirely unprepared for independence...worried for the children being born as we speak.

It depends on a lot of things. Where they live (what country, what region) and how much money the family has are two big factors.

well, they can have improved opportunities.
but again it is dependent on their situation over all.

Worse!!! The world isn’t getting any better. It’s very unfortunate we aren’t really thinking of the future.
