The lack of good medical care we have here. It is hard to attract those in the medical field to our little town. The doctors we do have are not so good either. For example, the newspaper and radio stations today are all about our doctor that just got his license suspended for multiple violation, but a couple were prescribing meds in exchange for lewd pictures and prescribing narcotics without seeing the person first. This is his 4th offense. He kept his license before, because we have such a need for doctors. We have only 4 doctors for 10,000 people. He did lose his prescribing privileges for a few months each time, but he kept his practice open.He is out of business now. Most of the people travel 2 hours ( or more) away for medical care and emergencies are seen in the hospital here and then flown elsewhere. Still,I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The benefits of where I live far outweigh the problems.
