How to slow down falling in love with someone?

Can this be done? Can someone like me who has never ever felt this way for anyone in his life ,actually be falling in love with her? And please guide me on how to slow this down please no joke help me to get control back !

Feelings can’t be controlled. If you try to put some space between you, it’s not going to work. You’ll still think about her all the time to the point it will drive you nuts! On top of that you’ll leave her wondering, “What happened? I thought things were going so well. I thought he liked me.” Just let it happen. Do you know how she feels? Falling in love can feel amazing but scary if you’re unsure of her feelings and fear rejection.
