How to slow down falling in love with someone?

Can this be done? Can someone like me who has never ever felt this way for anyone in his life ,actually be falling in love with her? And please guide me on how to slow this down please no joke help me to get control back !

Not even sure why you would want to slow it down but getting away from the person can give you some perspective. You do risk losing her if you take this route, however. Good luck🤗
