I think some people heard a lie (hands up don't shoot) and they understandably got upset. It's not for me to judge why some still refuse to accept that the hands up don't shoot was a lie but I haven't walked in their shoes. I blame the media for reporting misinformation and then when the truth came out they did not report that they had reported untruths. There are enough real cases of racism to be making more up. I also blame obama for not using his bully pulpit to set the record straight. Since he inserted himself he had an obligation to set the record straight and he didn't.

@katielass :/
It's not a lie. Some black people get shot by turning their backs and fleeing. Forget standing there

@SW-User Yes, there was one case but that happened AFTER the riots started. The case outside St. Louis was a lie. Instead of waiting for all the facts to come out they rioted and it was based on a lie. And they still refuse to acknowledge the truth after the facts came out in the trial. The one cop who did shoot that man in the back was charged the following day and convicted of first degree murder. He now hopes and prays he doesn't drop his soap in the shower. Cops are not running around looking for blacks to murder. If people are really concerned about black lives being lost, and most of us are, I suggest they march on Chicago because there are an awful lot of black lives being lost there on a daily basis but of course it isn't cops killing them so I guess that makes it acceptable.

@katielass that was the case that came before the one that TRIGGERED riots, ma'am :/
Chicago is bad. I agree, but everybody there is bad. It's a broken inner city society. Anybody born and raised there tends to fall into the trap that was set up. (A georeference to systemic resource differences)

I feel like the executions from cops is worse because with the exception of 2016, cops have killed more blacks than Chicago citizens murdered each other :/
And that's not even thought of
