My thumb is so numb it hurts...

It has been like this for 5 days. Have NOT been sleeping on it. I slept on my other arm and woke in in pain from my other hand. I wouls shake it and run it under cold water. Nothing. Just painful numbness... Then I did sleep on it and then my hand felt better. After I woke up it went back to numb again. I cant feel it.

🤗 Do you handle any chemicals at your work? Do you think you might have accidentally come in contact with a poison? Has your workplace had any rat or roach problem recently that you're aware of? I'm not an expert on this, but someone may have put down some poison somewhere that you may have come in contact with.

I don't want to scare you or make you worry unnecessarily, but my great aunt apparently died relatively recently from rat (or some kind of other) poisoning at her workplace (she worked at a bank, if I'm not mistaken). From what I've heard, it seems she became paralysed or something, apparently unable to speak, shortly before her passing.

Whatever it is, maybe you should go see the doctor about it. But as I said, I'm not an expert.
