No, it just means educated which does mean something and has value. And by the same virtue, uneducated does not mean intelligent either.

@Unlearn Because that's what education is. You can be self-educated. But even an institutional education is valuable. A university degree in the most useless subject possible teaches you how to research, write, and argue. In addition it helps you become an engaged citizen and comprehend more complicated ideas than you would otherwise. Theese are practical, definable skills that are useful in any walk of life.

@Unlearn Because there's more than one thing that determines success. Educated people typically earn more in their lifetimes than uneducated people, but on average.

Note - I'm a dropout with a good job. But I still recognize the value of education.
