I'd prefer a person who bothered to educate themselves over someone who didn't though

@ZenKitzune ouch! Best of luck...
ZenKitzune · F
@Unlearn why is that ouch?
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@ZenKitzune you missed out the "best of luck" part...
ZenKitzune · F
@Unlearn gets complex if you ask too many questions at once.
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@ZenKitzune but you still gotta process them all... it's only fair you see.
ZenKitzune · F
@Unlearn I'm not really sure what the problem is here..did you take what I said personally?
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@ZenKitzune no...taking personally would require me to be uneducated. I have enough degrees for that. But degrees are just...degrees.
ZenKitzune · F
@Unlearn ok, well I was referring to people who obviously have some intelligence but take that as a replacement for facts and gaining knowledge on the subjects they are arguing about. With so much access to information, there is really very little excuse for not reading up on things for yourself.
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@ZenKitzune reading is different from truly experiencing something. One can read a thousand books on swimming...but to swim requires effort.
ZenKitzune · F
@Unlearn well, not everyone can experience something like schizophrenia, for example. Experience is good but for the most part what we have is reading and listening.
ZenKitzune · F
@Unlearn I am currently studying addiction, I mean I could just buy some heroin and save myself the trouble I guess lol
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@ZenKitzune that is your way of looking at it... schizophrenia is misunderstood by medical science...I always said that. There are few posts about it by me.
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@ZenKitzune if you are really curious...you should. Second hand knowledge doesn't cut it for me.
ZenKitzune · F
@Unlearn Medical science is missing huge chunks when it comes to the brain, can't help but think they need to have a more holistic approach to these things. There is far too much treatment of just the symptoms, in mental health..and not efficiently at that.
ZenKitzune · F
@Unlearn If I'm really curious I should what?
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@ZenKitzune this I agree with...they merely cover the symptoms because they're funded by pharmaceutical companies.
ZenKitzune · F
@Unlearn indeed, this game is not made for taking care of people, it's made for making money out of them...and it works.
Unlearn · 41-45, M
@ZenKitzune yep...you can say that again.
