It's a matter of knowing who are users and manipulators (narcissistic sociopaths) pretending to be loving human beings and those who are genuine. I do believe that the number of sociopaths in this world are increasing.

@cherokeepatti Thank you Patti.

No I think we need to make better choices
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@Mondayschild Starting with the system in place,in my opinion.
nah, not to me. LOL Ive been lucky though.
With adolescents having ready access to porn and video games I believe that love and family values are threatened. Too many are addicted to their computer or phone.

@OkayBye Agreed,and I do not believe society has arrived where it has by chance,but by cold calculation.

It seems like fear and hate and greed rule now.
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@hunkalove That is what my senses tell me too.

Doesn’t that just make more options?@DollyLand
SomeAreBoojums · 51-55, M
depends on ur definition of "love"
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@SomeAreBoojums Each answer depends on that individuals definition,it would be unfair to expect others to be aware of my views ;)

Have to wonder with all these dating apps 🤔
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@Bearserks On a personal level,probably true,but perhaps it would be a little too ambitious right now to try to deprive people of a basic requirement.

It's hard to say. We have the ability to communicate with a lot of people instantly, but people in general seem to be more spoiled and selfish than they used to.
AbbeyRhode · F
@pedrohedgerow Well, I feel that too many people have been given things without having to work for them. They grow up self-absorbed and entitled, and don't appreciate the blessings in their lives.
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@AbbeyRhode Yep,and what they have been given to distract them from those blessings are worthless in comparison.
AbbeyRhode · F
@pedrohedgerow Exactly! People become absorbed with shiny things, and take the beauty all around them, and the love of family and friends for granted. It's sad.

Yes and no.
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@IsGoodEnough a balenced view ;)

No. Our expectations have to keep up with the times.

Harder to keep Love not find it.
Definitely. Less trust, less consideration. Friendships are challenging, never mind anything beyond that. 🙁
