I have an addiction to Benzodiazepines, I am off them completely now (2 years) but the withdrawals were hell and it changed me as I didn't care about anything but getting my fix at the time. I could only function if I popped a pill and I thought I couldn't live without them.

@SW-User Benzo withdrawal is worse than heroin withdrawal. Benzos and alcohol are actually the only drugs you can die from, because the withdrawals are so bad. How'd you manage to get off?

@SW-User They really do. I think they just do if for the Big Pharma money. I'm a firm believer that there's little that can't be solved with therapy. Psychology over psychiatry.
