People can see that this is a crisis that will NOT go to waste. I hate to say it, but some people were probably very happy that this happened as it facilitates the movement down field of the 'political football' on the 2nd amendment crisis. This could be seen as a windfall for the anti gun lobby. The backlash is naturally the 'stocking and stashing' of weapons.
It is not the cold blue steel, but the warm hand that kills, but I am one conservative who believes there should at least be as much involved with the ownership of a gun as there is with the ownership and operation of a motor vehicle. You've probably already read my position. Fully automatic and semi automatic weapons should be issued to all Americans of sound mind as well as quality ammunition for same. There should be annual training and qualification. Waivers should be available for conscientious objectors, but 'armed to the teeth' should be the default setting for every healthy law abiding American adult. We need to reverse the scenario, to where the 'criminal' element are the one's who are having a hard time finding a heater!
I would suggest a German G3 or similar and a practical side arm for everyone I've mentioned.
Thanks for the best answer choice Mr Kelly~
